MAC Cosmetics Launches Beach Collection

The supplier held a summer beach party in Australia to launch the collection.

MAC Cosmetics staged a summer beach party at Sydney airport’s tax and duty-free store at which it launched its “To The Beach” collection. Glowing girls and “To The Beach” boys greeted travellers during the party and gave them shell necklaces hand-threaded in-store.

The new range comprises “a sultry collection of beachy nudes, bronze tones, teals and tangerines” in coral-stamped packaging at the Nuance-operated store that will be available while stocks last.

Clinton Brilley, national marketing manager for The Nuance Group Australia, a global travel retail shop, says, “With MAC, we created a sexy, seaside scene, which got travellers excited about being at the airport. They were momentarily ‘transferred’ into a romantic world of beaches and beauty.

“We are continually working to enhance the customer experience through innovative merchandising concepts that inspire travellers to learn more about the products they love.”
